Welcome to 2020, the year of a global pandemic, and the rise of TikTok. For those of you who are new to the TikTok realm, this is a social network for folks to express themselves through videos. While the app is mainly used by teenagers and young adults, there’s been a recent spike in use by older generations. Maybe we can thank coronavirus and #WFH for that?

If you thought TikTok took the world by storm in 2019, COVID-19 has done nothing but amplify the popularity of this short-form video app. And much like the pandemic, it has become widespread, with social media users taking to the platform from countries like Malaysia, Brazil, and even Norway to share videos about:
